Dear BRMS Families and Colleagues,

Ms. Sarah Jacob has accepted a position as the high school principal at Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District. This was approved by their board of education last evening. Please join me in wishing her the best of luck in her new endeavor. She will remain as Barker Road principal through January 9, 2025.

To provide continuity and to keep everyone on track, I have asked a retired PCSD assistant principal, Ms. Jennifer Marren, to step in and support this transition. Ms. Marren will be the Barker Road interim principal until a new principal is hired. We are grateful to Ms. Marren for her commitment to PCSD. She has been a long standing and well-respected leader, retiring as the assistant principal of Sutherland High School in 2023.

The search process for a new principal will begin immediately, followed by a collaborative interview process. It is our hope to have a new principal hired by early Spring.
